Bob is a construction worker who lives and works in the town of Bobsville. Along with his business partner Wendy, his cat Pilchard, and his machines Scoop, Muck, Lofty, Dizzy and Roley, Bob works hard getting important jobs done every day.

Bob the Builder was created in the late 1980's by British artist Keith Chapman. Bob made his television debut on BBC in April 1999 and was an instant success. The show debuted on Nick Jr. and Noggin in the United States in 2001.

In Bobsville, people and machines respect each other, cooperate, and resolve conflicts as they play and work together.
